Power Supply for 2½" External Drive Housing

Additional power for USB and FireWire Drive Housings!

  • For optional use with LINDY 2½" External Drive Housings (Part No’s 42910 & 42911)
  • Can also be used with our Illuminated Mouse Pad with 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub (Part No's 42995 & 42996)
  • This PSU should be used  –
    • when installing hard drives that require more than 400/500mA
    • when connecting the USB 2.0/FireWire Drive Housing (Part No. 42911) to a 4 Pin FireWire port. This is because, unlike 6 Pin FireWire ports, the 4 Pin port does not provide the connections for bus-powered devices
  • Input: 200-240V AC ~ 50Hz 0.4A
  • Output: Regulated, 5V DC - 2.5A
  • Connector: Round, 1mm inner diameter, 3mm outer diameter, positive (+) on centre contact
