We have announced the launch of our new NAS Personal Server Premium Box that will provide small businesses, SOHO and home users with a powerful Gigabit enabled network data storage and file sharing solution together with a file server, web server, ftp server and more.

The LINDY NAS Personal Server makes it easy for LAN users to share files and folders and back up data using the embedded SAMBA file server. With built-in web and FTP servers, the device is perfect for creating a web or intranet site, while a printer server makes it simple to share a printer via a built in USB 2.0 port. Configuration of the device is also easily accomplished via a browser based user interface.

Compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP, the Server Box supports all standard IDE/ATA 133 3.5” hard drive units up to a maximum capacity of 400GB. It is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports that enable the connection of a printer and additional USB storage devices such as pen drives or portable hard drives. Network connection is provided via a 10/100/1000 Gigabit port.

Our NAS Personal Server offers much more than network data storage. For example, the built in web and FTP servers not only allow you to build a local website but they also create the possibility to connect to a public IP address to provide file downloads or a website on the internet.
