Allows portable computer users to make connections to their work environment through convenient, reliable Infrared technology - just like your TV remote. The Infrared connections give you all the reliability and security of a hard-wire connection. Should your connection be interrupted for any reason, your data is protected. In Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, both audio and visual signals inform you if the connection is broken.

Ideal for transferring data files via Infrared from any digital device that has an IrDA V1.2 compliant Infrared port
Can be used with palmtop and handheld PCs, laptop and desktop PCs, digital cameras, handheld scanners, mobile phones and other devices with IrDA
Ideal for transferring large files that are too large for a floppy disk
Supports SIR, MIR and FIR (Fast Infrared) modes
IrDA 1.0 and 1.1 compatible
Infrared bi-directional bridge
Transmits and receives data up to 4Mbit/sec
Maximum distance of 1m between Infrared sender and receiver
Cable length: 1.4m
Bus-powered with no external power supply required
Compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
